There would hardly be anyone who wouldn’t have heard of the wonder that is Eiffel Tower.
Since its opening in 1889, it has mystified and awed around seven million people each year. Thus, to celebrate the 300 millionth visitor milestone, the 128-year-old iconic Tower was lit and brought to life with a special light show.
September 28, 2017 became a memorable day for all tourists and inhabitants of Paris when they got to be a part of an ultimate romantic atmosphere created by a flute trio at the top of the tower, drums in the courtyard and a jazz bar on the second floor. Apart from this, a light show, happening every half an hour, from 7:30 P.M. to midnight, kept in awe, all those who were present to witness its beauty.
The entrance fee was waived for the first 1500 visitors to dance to a “DJ set” on the first floor of the tower from 6:00-11:00 P.M.; the only condition being that they had to climb the 328 stairs to get there.
The 324- meter high monument has seen the world changing in all its glory and generations pass by. Hence, it was only natural to mark this occasion in a special manner and mark it did!
