While launching the first iPhone in 2007, Steve Jobs said his company would continue to release such ahead-of-its-time every year. He claimed his phones to be five years ahead of its competitors and stressed on his belief in ‘Think different’ mantra.
And well, a decade down the line, while the iPhone being the smartest of the lot is a topic of debate, most of us would unanimously agree that the Apple-produced phone is certainly one of the most desired ones. The ease of usage that iOS provides, coupled with solid hardware that Apple offers, the iPhone is a piece of beauty.
And the fact that the phone manages to run smoothly without having a RAM management system, is something that the world applauds.
But if you have an iPhone that’s more than a couple of years old, chances are there might be situations when it lags under the burden of latest graphic-intensive apps.
So how do you get rid of the problem?
Well, there’s a trick that everyone is following these days which claims to get one’s iPhone refreshed within seconds.
First, unlock your device.
Now, long-press the power button till the shutdown screen appears.
Once this screen comes on, long-press the Home button. Do not touch the Switch To Power Off.
After a few seconds, the screen will reset itself and take you back to the app or home screen you were previously on.
The trick actually resets the RAM in the iPhone and also clears any kind of cache or stored files that might be causing the lag by using the RAM.
