“I guess this is the time to say it but I have been cheating on Chester with Mike Shinoda,” tweeted Talinda Bennington hours after her husband’s death. Another tweet from Talinda’s account stated, “He didn’t kill himself, he was already did before he hung himself, I have proof…(sic). The last tweet said ‘not hacked’ .
But all of this is untrue as the account was definitely hacked. Chester the lead singer of Linkin Park committed suicide on Thursday. These tweets were made from the verified account of Talinda and were soon deleted.
The fans were outraged and commented, “Really sick/cruel that someone would think to hack Chester Bennington’s wife’s page and tweet that. Just doesn’t make any sense”.
Hacking and stalking events have been quite familiar with the Benningtons . Cyber stalkers, neurotic fans and whacky adherents have been causing a lot of troubles.
Even in such a state of grief, lunatics have left no stones unturned in demeaning the ace singer and his wife.
Chester didn’t deserve this. His family didn’t deserve this.
‘So, if you’re asking me, I want you to know ,
When my time comes,
Forget the wrong that I’ve done,
Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed,
And don’t resent me,
And when you’re feeling empty,
Keep me in your memory,
Leave out all the rest
Leave out all the rest. ‘
